This was probably the busiest part of the year. This quarter we did a lot of dissections such as an earth worm, clam, squid, craw fish and starfish. I believe that that was the order we did the dissections, at least for our class. We also had a big project that replaced a test( thank god!) Anyways, that project was the "book project" and it was about invertebrates.
Further more, this has been the funnest part of the year so far. We help the 5th graders with assignments and played soccer with them and that was fun because they are very entertaining.
My favorite dissection was the star fish due to the fact that it had dye that helped us have a better visual of the different parts of the creature. As in for the book project, it actually wasn't that bad. Yea we had some difficulties but it was an interesting assignments. Especially pranking RJ.
Anyways, this was a fun quarter. Three down, one to go!!!! I am actually looking foward to the upcoming quarter with the vertebrate dissections and the zoo field trip with the 5th graders.
