Animal behaviour ethologists study the behavior of animals and how they interact with each other and the environment. They understand how different animals adapt to climate and surroundings and they study the reasons behind what they do.
The specific career that I have chosen is a research assisitant. Research assistants may be hired at universities, government jobs, zoos, museums, and they may also have research vessels (depending on the feild of study) that go out into different spots in the ocean and study marine life first-hand. Some jobs might be part-time others full-time. Most people with full-time jobs as research assistants have a MS or BS degree.
The goal of animal behavoiour ethologists is to understand as much about the reasons animals interact as possible.
They study how animals attract each other and mate, why birds fly south for the winter, why whales migrate in big groups, etc. This is a very broad feild because one can study in any environment with living organisms.
The pictures above are showing intereactions between animals.
