Marine mammal training is a great job for those who love to train and care for dolphins, whales, seals and other sea animals. You get to spend everyday with these wonderful creatures and raise them. What education do you need to be a marine mammal trainer?
A high school diploma is necessary and it is preferred that you have a college education. Most places will want you to have an internship with their current trainers and or with another aquarium.
What skills do i need to have?
Most mammal trainers show the skills they have achieved. While showcasing this you should have the characteristics of public speaking, good physical health, and being able to relocate when needed.
Is there more to just watching out for your mammal?
Yes, not only do you have to keep you mammal happy, healthy, and clean but also its habitat that it lives in. Keeping its area clean is essential to its living.
